Amusing variety of combat play
This game is set in the 31st-century world, where human and robotic creatures peacefully co-exist at first but derangement happened and led cultists to gain control over corrupted mechanisms that causes them to become more aggressive towards humans. You can combat these machines in various ways, such as setting tripwire traps with the use of Tripcaster or shooting robots with arrows, explosives, and spears. The damage of the weapons you will use can be modified to create more impact.
Once you have defeated the machines, you can collect and loot its remaining components—including electricity and the metal—and use it for crafting resources. The items you can craft are ammo, resource satchels, pouches, quivers, resistance, antidotes, health potions, and traps. Not only you will engage in battle against machines but you will also combat human enemies, such as bandits and the Eclipse cult. Meanwhile, the machines’ method of attack combines both offense and defense measures. They react to a perceived threat, either by brute force or weaponry.
These robotic creatures act like wild animals—thus, they are inclined to move in a flock and some of them have the ability to fly. The open-world game map is divided into four regions: forest, jungle, desert, and snowy mountain. The structure of quests involves the exploration of map regions, as well as tribes. Tasks include helping humans in danger, solving mysteries, gaining control of bandit camps, destroying criminals and machines, surpassing challenges from the five Hunting Grounds, and obtaining the ancient armor that makes you resistant to any damage.
